Getting Started
Is TopperSquare completely free to use?
Yes. The core practice tools on TopperSquare — including the full question bank, chapter-wise tests, topic-wise practice, and PYQ sets — are 100% free with a registered account. Optional premium plans unlock additional features such as advanced AI analytics and priority question reporting, but you can achieve significant score improvement on the free tier alone. There is no credit card required to sign up.
How do I create an account?
Visit the Sign Up page and enter your mobile number. You will receive a 6-digit OTP for verification. Once verified, your account is active immediately — no email confirmation, no waiting period. You can optionally add your name and target exam year to personalise your dashboard.
Do I need to install an app?
No. TopperSquare is a fully responsive web platform that works on any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — on both desktop and mobile devices. For the best experience on smaller screens we recommend Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS.
Which courses and subjects are covered?
Currently the platform covers the complete NEET-UG syllabus: Biology (Botany + Zoology), Physics, and Chemistry. All content is aligned with the latest NCERT curriculum and NTA NEET exam pattern.
Tests & Practice
What is the difference between Mock, PYQ, Chapter, and Custom tests?
Full Mock Tests simulate the real NEET exam — 180 questions, 200 minutes, all three subjects — with strict NTA-style scoring (+4 for correct, −1 for incorrect). PYQ (Previous Year Question) sets contain actual questions from past NEET exams organised by year. Chapter-wise and Topic-wise tests let you drill into a specific portion of the syllabus. Custom Tests are AI- or manually assembled sets based on your chosen subject, topic, difficulty, and question style (Assertion-Reason, Statement-based, Numerical, etc.).
How does the exam timer work?
In Strict Exam Mode, a countdown timer runs from the full allotted time (200 minutes for Full Mock, proportionate for shorter tests). The test auto-submits when time runs out. In Practice Mode the timer is hidden and there is no auto-submission, allowing you to solve at your own pace and review explanations immediately after each answer.
Can I retake a test?
Yes. All test sets support retakes. Your most recent attempt always overrides the previous one in your progress dashboard, but your historical accuracy trends continue to be tracked cumulatively across attempts.
What happens if my browser crashes or I close the tab mid-test?
Your answers are saved in real time as you progress. If you reconnect and navigate back to the same test within the same session, your previous answers and remaining time are restored. If you have completely closed the session, your partially submitted answers may or may not be recoverable depending on how far you progressed — we recommend always clicking the Submit button before leaving.
How do I report a wrong question or incorrect answer key?
Every question page has a 'Report Question' button. Clicking it opens a modal where you can describe the issue — wrong answer key, factual error, outdated content, or formatting problem. Our team reviews all reports and typically resolves them within 48 hours.
Scoring & Analytics
How is my NEET score calculated?
+4 marks are awarded for each correct answer. −1 mark (negative marking) is applied for each incorrect answer. Unattempted questions score 0. This exactly mirrors the official NTA marking scheme. Your total marks are displayed immediately after submission alongside a percentage score and accuracy rate.
What does 'accuracy' mean in my analytics?
Accuracy is the percentage of questions you attempted correctly out of the total questions you actually answered (not including unattempted ones). For example, if you answered 120 questions and got 90 correct, your accuracy is 75%. This is more meaningful than raw percentage because it isolates your decision quality on the questions you chose to attempt.
What is a streak and how does it work?
Your streak counts consecutive days on which you have completed at least one practice session or test on the platform. The streak resets to zero if you miss a day. Maintaining a streak builds consistent study habits and is shown on your dashboard as a motivational metric.
How does the 'time per question' metric help me?
Average time per question reveals pacing issues. NEET allocates roughly 66 seconds per question. If your average on Physics is 90 seconds but only 40 seconds on Biology, you know where to adjust your exam strategy. The analytics dashboard shows per-chapter breakdowns so you can identify not just accuracy gaps but speed gaps too.
Subscription & Plans
What is included in the free plan?
The free plan includes: access to the complete question bank (32,000+ questions), all chapter-wise and topic-wise tests, PYQ sets from all years, full mock tests, the custom test builder, basic performance analytics (score, accuracy, streak), and question reporting. No time limit, no trial period — free means free.
What does a premium subscription add?
Premium plans unlock advanced AI-driven analytics (weakness detection, predicted score range, suggested revision schedule), priority question report resolution, and early access to newly released content sets. Check the Pricing section on the homepage for the current plan details and pricing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your active subscription at any time from your Account Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — you retain access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 7-day refund window from the date of payment for annual plans, subject to our Refund Policy (see Terms of Service). Requests must be submitted via email to support@toppersquare.com with your order ID. Monthly plan payments are non-refundable. Payments are processed via Razorpay — refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–7 business days once approved.
Technical & Account
Which browsers are supported?
We support the two latest stable versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported. For best performance, use Chrome 110+ or Safari 16+. JavaScript must be enabled.
My test results are not showing up. What should I do?
First, try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows / Cmd+Shift+R on Mac). If the issue persists, clear your browser cache and log in again. If results are still missing after 5 minutes of completing a test, contact support@toppersquare.com with your registered phone number and the test name — we can manually verify your submission in our database.
Can I use the platform on multiple devices?
Yes. Your account and progress sync across devices automatically. You can start a test on your laptop and review your analytics on your phone. However, avoid submitting the same test simultaneously from two different devices as this may cause conflicts.
How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion and erasure of your personal data, email support@toppersquare.com from your registered email address with the subject line 'Account Deletion Request'. We will process your request within 30 days in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Ambassador Programme
What is the TopperSquare Ambassador Programme?
The TopperSquare Ambassador Programme is a peer-referral initiative that lets high-performing or influential NEET students represent the platform in their communities — offline coaching centres, online study groups, college WhatsApp groups, etc. Ambassadors receive exclusive benefits including extended premium access, referral commissions, and early access to features.
Who can apply to become an Ambassador?
Any registered student can apply. There is no minimum follower count or coaching affiliation required. Applications are reviewed manually by our team, and successful applicants are notified within 24–48 hours.
How are Ambassador referral earnings paid?
Referral commissions are credited to your registered account wallet on a monthly basis and can be transferred to your bank account via UPI. Detailed commission tiers and payment terms are available in the Ambassador Agreement provided upon approval.
Can I withdraw my Ambassador application?
Yes. If your application is pending or active, you can withdraw at any time from the Ambassador page on the platform. Withdrawal immediately terminates your Ambassador status and stops future commission accrual. Previously earned commissions that are due for payment will still be credited.
