• Floating ribs (B) are the last 2 pairs (11th and 12th) of ribs which are not connected ventrally (IV) .
• Scapula (C) has a spine that projects as a flat, expanded process called the acromion (III) .
• Coxal bone (D) is formed by the fusion of three bones: ilium, ischium, and pubis (I) .
