1. Gliding joints are found between the carpals (wrist bones).
2. The joint between the humerus and the pectoral girdle is a Ball and socket joint, not a hinge joint.
3. The joint between the atlas and axis is a Pivot joint; joints between other vertebrae are typically cartilaginous.
4. The joints between flat skull bones (like frontal and parietal) are Fibrous joints (sutures), which do not allow movement.
