The Bohr model is valid only for single-electron species (hydrogen-like species) such as the Hydrogen atom, He$^+$, and Li$^{2+}$ . It fails to explain the spectra of multi-electron atoms like the neutral Helium atom (He), which contains two electrons . Furthermore, the model cannot explain the ability of atoms to form molecules (like molecular hydrogen, H$_2$) . The model predicts line spectra (discrete) rather than continuous spectra, based on quantized energy transitions . The validity of the model is based on electronic structure, not room temperature.
